These avocado bowls are so perfect after a workout, a quick meal before you head out, or a delicious start to your day! It is so easy to make, and after I lick my bowl clean, I feel the perfect balance of full and energized.
Like all my other recipes, you can add and substitute ingredients as you please. I personally would’ve added a bit more bananas on top, and possibly some blueberries and coconut shavings if I had some, to this bowl.
Ingredients:
- 1 whole avocado
- 1 banana (if you want to taste the avocado a bit more just add 1/2 a banana)
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon of matcha powder
- 1/4 cup milk of your choice (I usually kinda just eyeball it, you want it to be on the thicker side so don’t add to much liquid)
- 1-2 tablespoons of honey/agave
- 1 cup of ice
Toppings
For this bowl I only used:
- granola
- 1/2 banana
- drizzle of honey
But here are some that I think would be delicious and you could definitely consider trying!
- Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries
- coconut shavings
- cacao nibs
- peanut butter
- anything else you can think of! (maybe share in the comments below 🙂 )
Directions-
Blend all your ingredients and add as needed if its not thick or sweet enough. Then, finish off with the toppings of your choice! It’s really that easy.
I would love to hear if you try this out and what you add to it! It was too good not to share… Enjoy!
